Finalist for the DB mindbox program FOM 2024

nLink is proud to announce its selection as a finalist in the DB Mindbox Future of Operations & Maintenance (FOM) Program 2024. This prestigious startup program is an initiative of the Deutsche Bahn Group, Europe's leading provider of mobility and infrastructure solutions. The final event is scheduled to take place in Frankfurt on January 29th.

nLink has been tasked with developing a cutting-edge concept aimed at transforming the current manual process of inspecting railway sleepers for cracks and abnormalities. This process, which is both time-consuming and resource-intensive, is a critical component of railway maintenance.

DB Mindbox plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between innovative startups and Deutsche Bahn's business units, and offers a unique opportunity to test and accelerate ideas and products inside the Deutsche Bahn Group.

"While we are not at liberty to disclose the specifics of our proposal at this time, I can share that it centers around AI-assisted image analysis, a field we have been working with for some time”, states Roger Flølo, CEO of nLink. "The competition is expected to be intense, but our preliminary tests in the laboratory have been promising. We eagerly await the opportunity to present our solution to the distinguished panel of judges."
